Our high viscosity mixing bowl and blade set is designed for mixing and blending of small quantities (10 to 50 g) of those more difficult and more viscous mixtures when the high shear standard bowl and blade set is not suitable. Our design team have been working to develop a solution to this occasional request from both existing and potential CML users.
Caleva high viscosity mixing blades and bowl
The high viscosity bowl and blade set been developed and designed together with some current and potential CML users.. A few clients been experiencing stuck blades or poor homogeneity and mix quality with certain types of specialist formulations. After extensive development testing this additional option is now available for users of the Caleva Multi Lab. The two contra rotating rotating blades, rotating at different speeds, with a fixed ratio of 2 to 1 has proved to be especially efficient with some of the difficult materials used in few circumstances.
