This year the ACHEMA 2015 – World Forum and 31, widely known as the leading show for the chemical engineering and process industries, will take place from 15 – 19 June 2015 – Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The show is generally busy and full of interesting new technologies and is one of the most respected world forums for the chemical engineering and process industries.
David Ryan and Steve Robinson will be attending the show for three days to meet with new and existing customers. Will we have a chance to meet at the show?
Caleva will be there primarily to explain the new Caleva Multi Lab that is proving to be a very popular addition to the range of products for the development and manufacture of pellets across a broad range of industries that Caleva offers. The new Caleva Multi Lab (CML) is a benchtop apparatus with a very small footprint that easily sits on a laboratory benchtop and is designed for the development of small (up to 50g batches) samples of pellets by extrusion and spheronization.
In addition to the Caleva Multi Lab (ideal for both University teaching and R&D – it has a granulator, extruder and spheronizer designed to work with batch sizes up to about 50 grams) we have other kits for the development of pellet formulations that will satisfy different requirements for different users. Examples are:-
The Multi Bowl Spheronization Kit
In this case the kit is designed for those who want (or need) to work with batches from 50 to 1500 grams.
The Variable Density kit:
This will be useful if you need to do any of the following
• Modify product (pellet or extrudate) porosity?
• Modify dissolution profiles of your pellets?
• Make more uniform pellets?
• Increase active material (drug or catalyst for example) loading?
• Use the optimum extrusion density for your formulation?
Talk to us if you want to know more.
If none of the above fit exactly to what you want to do then let’s talk and see what we can do for you specific needs.
If you are an existing customer of Caleva please let us know that you will be in ACHEMA so that we can arrange a meeting that is suitable for you. We would love to hear about what you are doing with our extruders and spheronizers, mini coater dryer or the Mixer Torque Rheometer. If you are using any of these Caleva laboratory items to make pellets, to dry and/or coat pellets or using the Mixer Torque Rheometer to quantify the consistency of wet masses (for formulation development or quality control in production) then let us know and let’s talk together.
If you are visiting Achema and have already had contact with us the send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and set up a meeting. If you don’t know Caleva already and want to know what our extruders and spheronizers might be able to do you for then call Steve Robinson on +44 1258 471122 to talk or fix a meeting in Germany in June.
