Terminology:

Spheronisation™*, Pelletisation and Marumerisation all mean the same thing. The manufacture of small round pellets with a limited size spread within a batch. Pellet sizes (sometimes called micropellets or spheroids) can be normally be made within tight size ranges between about 0.5mm and 2.0mm in diameter.

* = Sometimes called: Spheronization or spheroidization.

Why the Caleva Mini coater /drier?

The smallest fluid-bed coater/driers require a minimum of 300g to 500g of material to work effectively.

Designed as a compact and robust unit the coater/drier is simple to operate.
Designed for use in the pharmaceutical industry the Caleva mini coater/drier can be used in other applications.
Coating granules with catalytic material, coating of fluid filled gelatine capsules, coating of chocolate shapes and other confectionery have all been successfully completed.
