The Caleva Variable Density Extruder ^®

• Laboratory extruders can generally offer different extrusion hole diameters but only the Caleva Variable Density Extruder (VDE) can offer both variable hole diameters and variable hole depths in both axial and radial extrusion.
• Extrusion hole diameters from 0.2mm to 2.0mm and hole depths from 0.5mm deep to 6mm deep on radial extrusion and 8mm on axial extrusion. Optimal length to diameter ratio can be selected to produce the ideal density extrusions to suit your application

The Caleva "Low-Pressure" Extruder 20

• Caleva Extruder 20, a screen type extruder designed to replicate production extrusion on the laboratory bench top.
• Unique Caleva system of roller extruders designed to impart little work to the product as it is processed reducing problems caused by overheating or drying of the material.
• A simple operating structure and a small footprint to fit easily on the bench top.
• The diameter of spheroids produced is determined by the diameter of the extrudate.
•  Screens with different hole diameters from 0.5mm to 2.5mm can be supplied to complement any development program.
