Bench top mini screw extruder

• Previously available only as part of the "Caleva Mini Kit" but now available as a stand-alone screw extruder for very small batches.
• Capable of working with as little as 5g of material.
• A stand-alone laboratory bench top extruder to facilitate research and development of extrudate.
• The Caleva are very small screw extruder will allow you to work with very small quantities of material.

• Extrudate diameter?
  Dies with different hole diameters, numbers of holes, hole design and length diameter ratios can be provided. Ask us for details.
  
  
• Extrusion speed?
  Variable, controlled by the user.
  
  
• A minimum sample sizes?
  Experiments have shown that if a batch size of about 10g used then recovery of about 8 g of extrudate can be achieved.
  
  
• Data recording?
  Caleva Datastor can be connected to give a permanent record (reading every five seconds) of power, rotation speed and product temperature.
